Mobile sufing next big market

More and more mobile users are accessing the Web through their cell phones. With the enhancement in technology, web access through phone is no more the privilege of smartphone owners. Mobile phone manufacturers are providing the feature in many budget models too.According to a recent survey by the world popular mobile browser Opera Mini, every month since its launch in 2006, the browser has seen a steady increase in the number of users. More than 13 million people used Opera Mini in the month of April and 14.7 million in May, an increase of 24.6 per cent. More male usersThe study showed men dominate the mobile web-browsing domain, with 90 per cent of the users coming from the male gender. Also, out of 10 countries India had maximum population accessing the Internet through their cellphones. The female population is just hardly three per cent. Additionally, the youth seem to be more inclined towards mobile browsing in India with 39 per cent falling under 18-27 age group and 34 per cent falling in the 28-37 age group. In India, however, under-18 mobile web users comprise only 5.6 per cent. Increasing nosAccording to market analysts, accessing the Web on mobile devices will become more pervasive and it will exceed that of accessing through a computer as the number of mobile users is more and it is easy to use.
